Givaudan launches five vegan botanical extracts for hybrid makeup

Givaudan Active Beauty unveiled a new generation of active botanical extracts designed to fuse make-up and skincare.

Crafted through green fractionation, the new [N.A.S.] Vibrant Collection is highly concentrated in bioactive compounds with strong antioxidant properties.

The new series includes five 100% natural origin active extracts combining makeup and skin benefits:

[N.A.S.] Curcuma 7409. A soothing rhizome extract derived from Curcuma longa L.

[N.A.S.] Gardenia 2168. An anti-ageing fruit extract derived from Gardenia florida L.

[N.A.S.] Spirulina 2183. A brightening algae extract derived from Spirulina platensis G.

[N.A.S.] Radish 1805. A skin protection radish extract derived from the root of Raphanus sativus L.

[N.A.S.] Radish 2364. An antiglycation radish extract derived from the root of Raphanus sativus L.

Thanks to a specific process Givaudan was able to ensure the stability of the extracts and bioactive compounds to preserve their organoleptic properties and appearance. According to the manufacturer, the oil-dispersible powders deliver a stable biological efficacy in make-up without compromising colour performance, intensity or stability.

The five active powders that debut the [N.A.S.] Vibrant Collection range were unveiled at the in-cosmetics Latin America trade show held on September 25-26 in São Paulo, Brazil.
